FRANKLIN — Kathleen J. (née Salisbury) Kimball, 60, of Hemlock Circle, died Aug. 27, 2024, at Concord Hospital.
She was born in Portsmouth, on Sept. 19, 1963, the daughter of the late Norman and Gloria (née Willett) Salisbury.
Kathy spent her early years in Portsmouth, and had also resided in North Carolina, Las Vegas, Andover, Sunapee and Franklin. She recently resided as a member of the family with Samantha Moran, Jeremy "Jed" Drew and children, Kayla, Jake, Paytin and Isabell in Franklin.
She had been a dietary aide at Edgewood Nursing Home in Portsmouth, a housekeeper/caregiver at Woodcrest Village in New London, and more recently an assembler at Watts.
“Bubby,” as she was known by her grandniece, cared for everyone and particularly loved all the children. Kathy had many close friends that she considered family and enjoyed the times they got together whether it was for a day out, a gathering with her friends, a trip to the park, or just shopping. She also enjoyed cooking and being by the water.
Kathy is predeceased by her parents and her foster parents, the Potters.
She is survived by siblings Mary Tillock of Florida, Richard Salisbury of Concord, and Bruce Salisbury of Durham; a nephew, Michael (Son) Tillock of Las Vegas; grandnephew and grandnieces Tyler, Emma, Fran and Ava. She also leaves many much-loved cousins who she considered more like brothers and sisters to her.
She touched so many hearts and will be missed by all.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 28, at Danbury Community Center, 15 High St., Danbury.
