LACONIA — Johnny “Porky” D. Toutaint, 68, of Baldwin Street, passed away on Jan. 5, 2026, at Concord Hospital-Concord.

John was born on Nov. 16, 1957, in Laconia, the son of the late Gerard and Barbara (Cass) Toutaint.

John was employed as a machinist at Aavid Thermalloy. He enjoyed woodworking and could figure out to use any piece of equipment and knew how to run anything. He was the family “forever jokester.” He kept those around him laughing, even in his final days.

John is survived by his brothers Paul Toutaint, Rev. Wayne Toutaint and his wife Devona, and Thomas G. Toutaint; nephew Thomas N. Toutaint; and niece Marie E. Bucciano. Along with his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Karen Ann Toutaint.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Union Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Concord Hospital-Concord for their exceptional care of John.

For those who wish, the family suggests memorial contributions in John’s name be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, P.O. Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247.
