Jamie (Odey) Casarano, 73, of Belmont, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and love touched the lives of all who knew her.
Jamie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard J. Casarano. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and lasting memories.
She is survived by her son, David Casarano, and fiancée Valerie Zullo of Simsbury, Connecticut; her cherished granddaughters, Victoria Casarano and Scarlett Casarano; her loving dog Odey; along with her neighbors, the Bickford and Loring families, whom she considered to be family.
Jamie will be remembered for her caring heart, strength, generosity, and dedication to her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time at her camp on Lake Winnisquam in Meredith, with those she loved, and took pride in being the biggest Red Sox and Patriots fan.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 22, at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia. Burial will follow at noon at Blossom Hill Cemetery, 207 N. State St., Concord.
Though she is no longer with us, Jamie’s legacy lives on through her family and all those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Winnisquam Watershed Network, P.O. Box 502, Winnisquam, NH 03289.
