LACONIA — Gloria Doucette, 95, of Court Street, passed away on May 24, 2025, at St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Laconia.
Gloria was born Sept. 3, 1929, in Laconia, the daughter of Frank and Jennie (Zimmerman) Lovett.
She enjoyed being outside, raking and mowing her lawn, family get togethers, going for rides and taking long walks. She always loved having a good time. At St. Frances, she had a famous saying, "Oh boy," that caught on with the other residents and staff. She will be remembered for having a great sense of humor.
Gloria is survived by her daughter Linda Nelson, son Lester Doucette, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Gloria is predeceased by her nine siblings.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 2, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St.
Burial will follow the service at Bayside Cemetery, Union Avenue.
