CENTER HARBOR — Gerald L. Taylor III, 71, of College Road, passed away on Nov. 21, 2024, at Concord Hospital in Concord.

Gerald was born on May 29, 1953, in Laconia, the son of Gerald Taylor Jr. and Elizabeth (Hughes) Taylor.

After graduating Inter-Lakes High School in 1971, Gerald enlisted into the Army. He later worked as technical inspector for Firestone and went on to operate his own roofing and maintenance companies in the Lakes Region. Many will remember him from Taylor's Country Style restaurant in Meredith.

Gerald enjoyed many outdoor adventures; camping, fishing and hunting in the North country, gold prospecting, metal detecting, gardening and making maple syrup. Gerald was also a craftsman and loved to play the guitar and piano.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Kimberly (Sparks) Taylor, sons Jason Taylor and Jarrod Taylor, best friend Banjo, brother Gregory Taylor and his wife Paige and sisters, Gwendolyn Smith, Cheryl Aubut and Terry Lynch and her husband John. In addition to his parents, Gerald is predeceased by his siblings, James Taylor, Perry Taylor and his baby sister Lottie June.

A celebration of life gathering will be planned for the spring of ’25, TBA by the Taylor family.
