MEREDITH — Eva E. Soos, 94, of Chase Road, passed away on May 17, at Concord Hospital—Laconia.
Eva was born on Feb. 21, 1928, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, the daughter of Otis and Ida (Lyons) Johnson.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and word searches. Eva also loved spending time with her family.
Eva was a doting mother who loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart, she also enjoyed caring for many children from inside and outside of church and they too called her Gram, she loved them immensely.
Eva is survived by her sons, Joseph F. Buenviage Jr. of Tilton and Robert Falotico and his wife Becky of Falmouth, Massachusetts; her daughters, Marylou Costa and her husband Robert of Wareham, Massachusetts, Georgeann and her husband Dana James of Mashpee, Massachusetts, and Jeannine Cormier and her husband Alcide of Falmouth, Massachusetts; her sister Janet Lutenmeyer of Illinois, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Eva is predeceased by her loving husband Gus E. Soos, and her three grandchildren, Michael Falotico, Tyler Burgum, and Jason Costa.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2-4 p.m., in the Carriage House, at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, NH 03246.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 10 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Laconia Ward, 1242 Old N. Main St., Laconia, NH 03246.
A burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, in Meredith.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in Eva’s name be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, donate.churchofjesuschrist.org/donations/church/missionary-fund.html?cid=MemoriaMissionary.
