Edna L. Beauchesne, 73

CANTERBURY — Edna Louise Beauchesne, 73, of Canterbury, passed away peacefully on Sept. 4, 2026.

Edna was born on Oct. 18, 1952, to Charles Converse II and Dorothy (Botsford) Converse.

Edna was a lover of Elvis, John Wayne and her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time in the garden.

Edna was predeceased by both of her parents and her oldest brother Charles Converse III.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Beauchesne; their three children, Shawn Beauchesne and his wife Trish, Kimberly Basha and her significant other Mark Miller, Erin Maltais and her husband Seth; nine grandchildren, Tabbi Beauchesne, Tate Beauchesne, Alexandria Levine, Madeline Basha, John Basha, Abigail Maltais, Gracie Maltais, Jacob Maltais and Benjamin Maltais; her sister, Carol Lamper; and her brother, Robert Converse.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia.

A celebration of life will immediately follow the calling hours at Hector's Fine Food & Spirts, 53 Beacon St. W., Laconia.

The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Edna’s name can be made to the Dementia Society of America, P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
