LACONIA — Dorothy 'Dot' R. Nerison, 90, of 204 Charlevoix Place, died on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Lakes Region General Hospital.
Mrs. Nerison was born February 17, 1918 in Clinton, Mass., the daughter of William and Cora (Wood) Robinson. She spent her youth in Clinton and attended Clinton public schools.
Mrs. Nerison was later employed as a maid in Boston. She was then employed by Raytheon during World War II, where she was very active with the USO and Tremont Temple Baptist Church. After the war she married and later moved to New Hampshire in the early 1950s.
Mrs. Nerison was predeceased by her daughter, Carol Nerison, as well as by two sisters, Ethel Robinson and Vera McMann.
Survivors include a son, George Nerison of Belmont; a daughter, Dorothy Beland of Tilton; a sister, Mildred Peabody of Arlington, Mass.; four granddaughters and three grandsons; twelve great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
Private family services will be held in Clinton, Mass.
