It is with broken hearts that the family of David K. Chase announces his passing on Sept. 15, 2024, at his home in Sebring, Florida, after a long illness.

He was born in Concord, on March 5, 1944, to Virginia (Davis) Chase and Elliott W. Chase. David spent his childhood in Center Sandwich, graduating from Quimby School, and then attending Wentworth Institute. Throughout his life, David was known for his jovial spirit and his ability to bring laughter and joy to those around him. He held a profound appreciation for the happiness of others, a trait that endeared him to many.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam Crisis. His time in the service was marked by camaraderie and deep commitment to his fellow servicemen, often spending time with other veterans to exchange stories and experiences.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 46 years, Priscilla (Cheney) Chase. He was a devoted father to his four children, Trevor and wife Dana, Scott and his wife Danielle, Jennifer McCarthy, and Carrie Boscia and her husband Paul. His family circle included his sister, Jan French and husband Peter, Londa Gowan and husband Lance; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Gloria (Cheney) Vaillant, Kathy (Cheney) Bushaw and husband Jesse, Barbara (Cheney) Jordan and husband Jim, and Beverly (Cheney) Smith and husband Peter. David had a love for his eight grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and many friends that was unconditional.

David was predeceased by his mother Virginia Davis Burton, father Elliott W. Chase, brother Lance D. Chase, and sister Jill S. Bickford.

Services for David will be held at the convenience of the family, honoring his life and legacy in a manner befitting his wishes. His life was a testament to the power of service, both in the military and his community, and his legacy will be cherished by all who knew him.
