BELMONT — Cecille "Sue" Sargent, 82, of Bean Hill Road, passed away on July 14, 2025, at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord.
Sue was born on Dec. 16, 1942, in Laconia, the daughter of Charles and Cecille (Lacroix) Heath.
She enjoyed motorcycle riding, collecting stamps and visiting the ocean and lighthouses.
Sue is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Richard Sargent; brother Joseph Day and his wife Mary; grandchildren Eric and Bryan; two great-grandsons; nieces Kristy and her husband Darren, and Dawn and her husband Dave; and sister-in-law Kathryn Legassie. In addition to her parents, Sue is predeceased by her son Scott Swormstedt and sister Doreen Wright.
Per Sue’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
Her ashes will be scattered in the White Mountains at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations in Sue’s name to be made to Granite VNA Hospice, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301; Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 1016, Concord, NH 03302; or to your own favorite charity.
