LACONIA — Carmel Marie (Miville) Gill, 92, of Laconia, passed away on May 13, 2025, at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord.
Carmel was born on July 3, 1932, in Manchester, the daughter of the late Albert and Geraldine (Aubin) Miville.
She worked many years in banking and loved working with her co-workers and customers.
Carmel is survived by her son, Paul Gill and his wife Mary of Florida; daughters Lise Dehart and her husband Glen of Tilton, and Renee Savat and her husband Anthony of Newton; sister-in-law Pam Gill of Arizona; grandchildren Jeremy Dehart, Celine Savat, Wesley Savat, Ian Gill and Katerina Gill; and great-granddaughter Audrey Dehart. In addition to her parents, Carmel is predeceased by her husband Omer Gill and son John Gill.
A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, July 14, at St. Andre Bessette Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m., also at the church.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Stree.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Carmel’s memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
