NEW HAMPTON — C. Jeannette Hahn, 85, of Sinclair Hill Road died Sunday morning, September 25, 2005 at Lakes Region General Hospital after a brief illness. Jeannette was the daughter of the late P. Charles and C. Cecelia (Foley) Correll. She was born in Middletown, Conn. on July 28, 1920 where she was raised and schooled. Prior to her retirement in 1972 she was employed as the Director of Volunteers at Middlesex Memorial Hospital in Middletown, Conn.

After many years of summering on Bear Island, and Lake Waukewan, Jeannette and her husband made New Hampton their residence in 1972. She enjoyed the peaceful serenity of the lakes in New Hampshire where she especially enjoyed watching the loons and ducks in their natural environment.

Jeannette is survived by her husband of 63 years, E. Russell Hahn. Many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews also survive her.

In accordance with Jeannette’s wishes there will be no services at this time.

For those who wish, it is suggested that expressions of sympathy in Jeannette’s name may be made to the Charity of one’s choice.
