LACONIA — Amos Leo Parent Jr., 50, of Orange Court, passed away on Feb. 4, 2026, at his home.

Amos was born on Feb. 17, 1975, in Laconia, the son of the late Amos Leo Parent Sr. and Dolly (Pickering) Parent. He spent most of his life in Belmont. Amos was known as “The Legend of Belmont.” He graduated from Belmont High School in the class of 1995.

Amos worked for Polyclyde in Franklin, then worked in a variety of jobs. He loved spending time with his family doing activities such as snowmobiling, playing cornhole, and video games. He also loved going hunting with his father and his sister Carol.

Amos is survived by his sons Amos Parent III and Jason Parent, and his significant other Heidi Chubbuck; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends.

Services will be private.
