WOLFEBORO — Great Waters Summer Concerts will host Ted Vigil, the nationally acclaimed John Denver tribute artist, for a performance on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 7:30 p.m. at Anderson Hall at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro. This concert, partially underwritten by Paul Zimmerman, is part of the Concerts in Town series.
Adding to the evening’s significance, two Barbara and David Lobdell Scholarship recipients will be joining Vigil on stage:
Kurtis Sheffer, a 2024 and 2025 scholarship winner from Kingswood High School, will showcase his vocal talents; while Kyle Dumais, a 2025 recipient from Belmont High School, will accompany him on piano. Dumais will attend Gordon College this fall to study music education, reflecting the scholarship’s mission to support the next generation of musicians in the Lakes Region.
A Great Waters Producer Paul Zimmerman said, “Ted looks like John and sounds like John — don’t miss the opportunity to see Ted Vigil honoring John Denver. It is going to be a truly special night.”
Vigil has earned national recognition for his likeness to John Denver, both in appearance and voice. His performances bring Denver’s beloved hits to life with warmth, energy, and authenticity, touching audiences across the country.
