MEREDITH ― Join the League of NH Craftsmen ― Meredith Fine Craft Gallery for a Bangles and Rings Class with juried artist Joy Raskin.
In this one-day workshop, students will make bangles, cuff bracelets, and rings. Students will solder together simple wire rings and bangles, which will then be hammered for texture and embellished with wire-working. The cuff bracelets will be made from sheet metal that is textured and shaped into a C-shape bracelet. Guests will bring home new hand-made rings and bangles as keepsakes or give them as unique gifts.
The instructor will supply brass, bronze, and copper wire, as well as sheet metal and a limited amount of silver wire. The class will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
