MANCHESTER — WellSense Health Plan, a nonprofit health insurance company serving New Hampshire Medicaid members since 2013, has filed to offer a variety of Affordable Care Act health insurance plan options to New Hampshire residents through the Health Insurance Marketplace in 2025.

The plans will be called WellSense Clarity plans, referring to the company’s mission to offer health insurance coverage that consumers can understand easily with no surprises. As with other ACA health insurance plans, qualifying Clarity plan members can receive help from the federal government to pay for both their monthly insurance premiums and healthcare bills.

“We know that hard-working families will need more options for health insurance if they want to find a plan that truly fits their needs. That’s why we want to bring them our new line of WellSense Clarity plans to choose from,” said President of WellSense Health Plan Heather Thiltgen. “As a nonprofit health plan, we also hope that by increasing competition within New Hampshire’s health insurance market, we can help keep healthcare as affordable as possible.”

WellSense Clarity plans will be available for purchase to both individuals and families through wellsense.org and sales call center at 866-939-7096 as well as through the healthcare.gov website and independent insurance brokers. Clarity plans will be available for purchase and enrollment starting Nov. 1.
