FRANKLIN — Franklin VNA & Hospice recently received a $2,000 Community Impact grant from the Eversource Foundation. This Community Impact Grant will be used to provide hospice care to uninsured and underinsured patients.

“We are extremely grateful and appreciative of the ongoing support from the Eversource  Foundation,” said Franklin VNA & Hospice CEO Krystin Albert. “These funds come at  an important time as Franklin VNA & Hospice works to increase Hospice care in the 14 communities that we serve. Grants from the Eversource Foundation and other  organizations are vital in enabling us to further our mission to provide quality and  compassionate services to all in need and purchase items for patients that are not covered  by their insurance.”

The mission of the Franklin VNA & Hospice’s hospice program is to provide the highest  quality of physical, emotional and spiritual support to terminally ill patients, their family,  and loved ones.

The Eversource Foundation invests in organizations, initiatives and services that provide  broad, meaningful and sustainable change in the communities that they serve. In 2024,  the Eversource Foundation contributed more than $7 million to charitable organizations  in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
