The Daughters of the American Revolution 2024 scholarship portal is now open through Jan. 31, 2024. DAR awards some 26 scholarships to graduating high school seniors and undergraduate and graduate students in diverse areas of study including history, economics, law, political science, medicine, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, elementary and secondary education, chemistry, math, science and English.
The online scholarship submission platform can be found at dar.academicworks.com.
DAR scholarships range from $1,000-$5,000 and many are multi-year scholarships that are renewable for up to four years with consecutive attendance. Scholarships are awarded and judged without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin or disability. Applicants must be citizens of the United States and attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States.
Awards are based on academic excellence, commitment to the field of study, and/or financial need or other restrictions on specific scholarships. Applicants are only eligible to receive one scholarship from the DAR.
