MEREDITH — The Altrusa International Club here is hosting a new fundraising initiative — "Upscale Resale" — at a lovely Lake Winnipesaukee home on Thursday, Sept. 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A $30 donation will include wine, savories, and sweets. This perfect Ladies Night Out, this unique shopping experience will feature new and very gently used handbags, totes and costume jewelry priced to sell.
Proceeds will ensure that Altrusa continues hands on community service, supports local and international literacy projects and promotes partnerships and collaborations with other non-profit organizations leading to community betterment.
Altrusa International of Meredith NH Inc. is a 501 (c)(4) nonprofit volunteer organization that creates a better community through service, partnerships, and leadership. Fundraising proceeds are dispersed by the Altrusa International Foundation Meredith NH Inc., a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, that supports the Inter-Lakes Christmas Fund, the Moultonborough Santa Fund, area food pantries, scholarships, and other Altrusa initiatives.
