The 2009 Annalee Thorndike Art Competition exhibition is on display through May 12 in Rotary Hall at the Laconia Public Library. Several high school seniors throughout the Lakes Region who will major in art in college are competing to win Annalee Thorndike scholarship awards. Winners will be announced at a reception on Tuesday, May 12 at 7 p.m. The event is hosted by the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation. The public is welcome to attend.
