Second annual 'Fashion & Flair" at the Belknap Mill

 

LACONIA — The Belknap Mill wlll host "Fashion & Flair" on Sunday, May 21, from 1:30-4 p.m. The event is being held to help support the mission of the Mill. It kicks off with a cocktail hour and musical entertainment by local performer Jonathan Lorentz, accompanied by hors d'oeuvres prepared by Annie's Café and Catering.

The show will begin at 2:15 p.m. with fashions provided by Tanger Outlets and Pat Kelly serving as the master of ceremonies. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a cash bar provided by Contigiani's Catering throughout the event.

Local celebrities walking the runway include Larry Frates of Frates Creates, Chris Kelly of RE/MAX Bayside, Joan Frates and Amelia Hamilton Miller of Frates Dance Studio, Jane Karagianis of Brain Injury of NH, Carmen Lorentz of Lakes Area Community Land Trust, Katherine Dormody of the Gilford Public Library, Kimberly Drouin of Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center, Jennifer Anderson and Charlie St. Clair of Laconia Motorcycle Association, Craig Kozens of Laconia High School, Carly Dearborn of the Bank of New Hampshire, Eric Bredbury of the Gilford Police Department, Kevin Halligan of the Local Eatery and Local Provisions, Bill Irwin of Irwin Marine and Peter Karagianis of Happy Jack's Pipe & Tobacco Shop.

Junior celebrities include Renzo Hamilton Miller, Raelyn Drouin, Madyson Drouin, Sophia Joyal, Stevie Poehler and Marissa Davis.

Fashions are provided by Banana Republic, Christopher and Banks, Rue 21, GAP and Levi's. Hair and make up for the models provided by Jennifer's Color Bar in Gilford.

Sponsors for the events include Weld Fab Technologies Inc., Ambrose Brothers, Laconia Antique Center, Wescott Law PA and Laconia Motorcylce Week.

Tickets are available at The Belknap Mill, or online at www.belknapmill.org. VIP tickets are $40 and general admission is $35 and $25 for members of the Belknap Mill Society. 160 tickets will be sold.
