The Meredith Lions Club has donated a copy of Kids to Space: A Space Traveler's Guide to the libraries in the Inter-Lakes Elementary School and the Inter-Lakes Junior-Senior High School. Author Lonnie Schorer of Moultonborough has autographed each book, which is illustrated by students across the United States and Canada who took part in a unique project. They were asked "If you were traveling to space, what would you want to know before going?" From the 18,000 questions produced, several hundred were chosen to be passed on to experts who provided the answers. The book contains 94 chapters, with question and answer for each topic. Some of the illustrations were made by Inter-Lakes students. A copy is available at Meredith Public Library.
