Community Health and Hospice will be hosting a flu shot clinic on Saturday, Dec. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Customer Service/Management Office (next to Royal Nails and Spa) at Tanger Outlet Center in Tilton. This clinic is open to anyone nine years or older.

Pat Marceau, RN, support services program manager says, “We want to encourage as many people as possible to obtain the vaccine, but if you are not feeling well and have a fever please wait until you are feeling better to get the vaccine. The vaccine is more beneficial given in December; however, it can be given into January and still be effective before flu season strikes.”

Those who wish to have a flu shot should bring their Medicare card if they have one; otherwise, the cost to those without Medicare is whatever they can contribute to the cost of $25 per shot.

For more information, contact Marceau at 524-8444.
