The Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center is offering a class for adults on "Cultivating Edible Mushrooms" on Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m.-noon. The fee is $25 for non-members and $22.50 for members. Growing your own shiitake or oyster mushrooms is easier than you might imagine! This workshop will teach the basics of growing edible mushrooms on hardwood logs. Attendees will help Center staff inoculate logs for Prescott Farm and will keep one to take home.
