WOLFEBORO — The Wolfeboro Lions Club recently hosted a successful community spaghetti dinner fundraiser, bringing together residents, local organizations, and volunteers for an evening of great food, connection, and community spirit.

More than 80 attendees enjoyed a menu of spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, fresh salad, and assorted desserts. Gluten-free pasta and a vegetarian roasted vegetable option were also available to ensure everyone could participate.

The event was held to raise funds for the renovation of the Wolfeboro Community Center. Net proceeds from the dinner will be donated to the Town of Wolfeboro and earmarked specifically for the Community Center Renovation Fund, to revitalize this important town-owned facility.

The evening highlighted strong community collaboration. The Lions were joined by members of local Scout Troop 165 and the Ladies of the Lakes Quilters, who generously donated and raffled a handmade quilt to support the cause.

Events like this reflect the Lions’ mission of service: Bringing people together to meet local needs and make a lasting impact. As the organization’s motto says, “Where there is a need, there is a Lion.”
