TILTON — Winnisquam Regional High School Varsity Cheerleaders recently enjoyed some holiday fun building festive ginger houses with residents from the New Hampshire Veterans Home.

Maureen Campbell, NH Veterans Home recreation therapy supervisor, said, “Holiday programs like this one are very meaningful for our veterans. Welcoming local students and adding an intergenerational component makes the meaningful event become even more memorable.”

Tiffany Mayo, cheerleading coach said, “It was a very heartwarming and humbling experience to have the opportunity to visit and learn from those who served.”
