MOULTONBOROUGH — The Moultonborough Public Library will host a re-enactment of the life of Queen Elizabeth II as part of Sheryl Faye’s Historical Women series on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m.
Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor ruled as queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms for over 70 years, the longest reign of any British monarch as well as the longest verified reign of any female head of state in history. During her rule from Feb. 6, 1952, until her death on Sept. 8, 2022, Queen Elizabeth II acted as a firm and constant leader, inspiring people around the world with her courage, generosity, and strength.
Faye is a lifelong theater enthusiast and a recipient of a bachelor of fine arts in acting from Emerson College. Today, she is a full-time actress who has received several awards for her work on stage and in film. She recently launched Historical Women, her one-woman show series, which debuted in England with her rendition of Queen Elizabeth II.
