MOULTONBOROUGH — The Moultonborough Public Library recently hosted its first Puzzle Palooza, a team jigsaw competition that drew eight enthusiastic teams. The event, a test of skill and teamwork, filled the library’s program room with focused concentration and friendly competition.
Participants enjoyed a lively morning of puzzling, and the event’s success has secured its return for the coming months. The winning team, the parents-daughter trio of Karen Mooney, Susan and Lonnie Stokes, earned bragging rights and took home puzzles as prizes.
“We were thrilled with the turnout,” said Adult Services Librarian Josianne Fitzgerald. “It was wonderful to see people enjoy a classic pastime in a new and exciting way.”
Based on feedback, future competitions will extend to two hours to allow more teams to finish their 500-piece puzzles. The next will take place on Friday, April 5, at 9:30 a.m.
