CONCORD — NHTI, Concord’s Community College invites you to consider becoming a licensed teacher through an expedited pathway to licensure. In partnership with the NH Department of Education, NHTI-Concord’s Community College is helping career changers become licensed to teach in critical shortage areas through innovative teacher preparation programs.

NHTI will host an online information session on Tuesday, March 8 at 5:30 p.m. for anyone wishing to explore a teaching career.

The online event is a great opportunity to meet with faculty and alumni of the program. “NHTI, working closely with NH DOE, has simplified the process so people can quickly transition into a teaching role,” said Kelly Moore Dunn, EdD, department chair of the Teacher Education Conversion Program.

NHTI’s program is geared toward those who would like to become a licensed teacher or obtain an additional teacher licensure in the sciences, including computer science, mathematics, general special education, and English for Speakers for other Languages. NHTI is the only community college in New England to offer a teacher licensure program.
