MEREDITH — As part of this year's National Novel Writing Month Fall Writing Workshop, the Meredith Public Library will host an evening with NH Poet Laureate Jennifer Militello on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 6-7:30 p.m. in the library Function Room.

Militello will provide motivation to writers of all types and genres as she shares her journey of pursuing her writing goals from inspiration to publication and being recognized statewide for her poetry.

She is the author of the forthcoming hybrid collection “Identifying the Pathogen.” She has been named a finalist for the 2024 FC2 Ronald Sukenick Innovative Fiction prize.  She is the author of “The Pact,” the memoir “Knock Wood,” and four previous books of poetry.

Her work has appeared in Best American Poetry, Best New Poets, American Poetry Review, The Nation, The New Republic, The Paris Review, Poetry, Poetry London, and The Poetry Review (UK).

In addition to her writing, Militello has taught at Brown University, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and the Rhode Island School of Design, and currently teaches in the MFA program at New England College.
