GILFORD — Lakes Region native and award-winning singer-songwriter Katie Dobbins is making waves this summer with two milestones. Dobbins was recently named gold winner for best solo music act at the 2025 Best of the Lakes Region awards, a community-driven honor celebrating local excellence.

Fresh off this recognition, Dobbins is set to return to her hometown stage for a captivating full band performance on the Hazy Little Stage at BankNH Pavilion. The show will take place ahead of Little Big Town’s concert on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 5:30 p.m.

“This is a huge full-circle moment for me,” said Dobbins. “Growing up in the Lakes Region, I dreamed of playing at this venue. To get to perform here with my full band for the second time, just after being named Best Solo Music Act, is an incredible honor.”

Dobbins’ band features phenomenal local talent including Ian Davis on drums, Jarrod Taylor on electric guitar, Mike Moran on bass, and Vanessa Jones on violin. Dobbins herself will play both guitar and piano.

Known for her soulful vocals, honest storytelling, and folk-pop style, Dobbins has been steadily building a loyal fanbase throughout New England and beyond. Her live shows blend intimate lyrics with dynamic musical arrangements, drawing comparisons to artists like Sara Bareilles, Brandi Carlisle, and Jewel.

The Aug. 7 performance is included with entry to the Little Big Town concert and is part of the Pavilion’s Hazy Little Stage series, which highlights rising local talent before each headlining act.
