MEREDITH — Those planning a wedding and shopping for vendors or simply want to spend a fun afternoon browsing wedding gowns, table designs, florals, sampling wedding cakes and much more, stop by the annual Lakes Region Bridal Show at Church Landing/Mill Falls at the Lake in Meredith on Sunday, Nov. 3, from noon to 3 p.m.

The model for the show will be Shannon Casey, a well-known Lakes Region realtor. She will be modeling the latest gowns from A Day to Remember Bridal Boutique of Concord.

Presented by Lakes Region Bride magazine, the show will offer a variety of ideas and vendors for brides-to-be in the wedding-planning process. It also will provide a grand prize of a $1,000 gift certificate for one bride-to-be to use for the wedding vendor of her choice exhibited at the show.

In a party-like atmosphere, the Lakes Region Bridal Show will be held at Church Landing on Daniel Webster Highway in Meredith.

“Lakes Region Bride magazine presents the original and only bridal show for the lakes area,” said bridal magazine editor Kathi Caldwell-Hopper. “Church Landing is the perfect location for the bridal show, and we are able to spread out the event into two banquet rooms and other spaces, offering many vendors for guests to check out.”

Brides-to-be and other guests can view table designs, see the latest gowns from A Day to Remember Bridal Boutique, check out the florals, sample wedding cakes, try out a wedding day hairstyle from the Galleria Salon, and more. There also will be a wood-fired pizza oven from Beans and Greens Farm offering free samples and a mobile bar from On the Rocks Bartending, and many other vendors in a variety of categories.

“The grand prize is exciting,” said Caldwell-Hopper. “Lakes Region Bride will be giving away a $1,000 certificate to the winning bride-to-be. This prize is very helpful for a bride planning her wedding.”
