Lake Winnipesaukee Day will be celebrated at The Oldest Summer Resort in America at the Wolfeboro Town Docks on Friday, Aug. 9, from 5-10 p.m. It will highlight the importance of lake and land conservation and preservation. The event features an outdoor dance party culminating with a laser light show. The M/S Mount Washington Cruise ship and the Dive Boat, will be docked at the town docks and will offer food and libations.

Participating environmental nonprofit organizations will include Wolfeboro Waters, Wentworth Watershed Association, Lake Winnipesaukee Association, Lakes Region Conservation Trust, NH Lakes, The Sierra Club, the New Hampshire Audubon Society, and the Mount Washington Observatory.
