Gilford Elementary School principal honored with tree dedication
The Gilford Elementary School community recently planted and dedicated a sugar maple tree in honor of retiring Principal Dr. Danielle DiSisto Bolduc, recognizing her 14 years of leadership at Gilford Elementary School. A strong advocate for outdoor and place-based learning, Dr. DiSisto Bolduc helped spearhead the building and annual operation of the school's sugar shack and maple sugaring program, providing generations of learners with hands-on learning experiences connected to New Hampshire’s maple sugaring tradition. GES extends its sincere gratitude to Miracle Farms in Moultonborough for its generous donation of the sugar maple tree, which made this meaningful tribute possible. The sugar maple tree serves as a lasting tribute to her dedication, leadership, and impact on the Gilford school community. (Courtesy photo)
