WOLFEBORO — Makers Mill will host two dynamic painting classes with artist and instructor Martina Cyr on Sunday, Aug. 10, at its community makerspace at 23 Bay St. in Wolfeboro.

The morning kicks off with Alcohol Inks, 9-10:30 a.m., a playful and expressive art form known as the “easy-going cousin of watercolors.” Participants will learn techniques for creating vibrant, translucent effects on paper and ceramic tile. Alcohol inks are wonderfully forgiving, making this an ideal class for beginners and returning students alike.

From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the focus shifts to Intro to Watercolors, where attendees will explore a variety of tools and techniques including liquid watercolors, pans, pencils, crayons, and brush pens. This class provides a solid foundation for beginners while offering fresh ideas and practice for those with some experience.
