Easterseals NH & VT has appointed Jo Brown to the Board of Directors. Brown is the former Mayor of Franklin where she continues to reside.

“We are very pleased to welcome Jo Brown to the Easterseals NH & VT board,” President and CEO Maureen Beauregard said. “As a fourth-generation veteran, she has a special appreciation for the work our organization does to support service members, veterans, and their families. She has been a staunch advocate and partner in the development of our new Military and Veterans Campus in Franklin, and I am confident that as a Board member her insight will be invaluable.”

Brown is a retired active duty Air Force officer with over 22 years of military service. After retirement, she worked 12 years for USAA at its headquarters in San Antonio and in 2011 returned with her family to her hometown of Franklin. Since returning, she has volunteered with several non-profit and service organizations and has served on the Planning Board and the Franklin City Council. She completed her term as mayor in January. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.
