LACONIA — Community Challenge Team Gator Graphix is hosting a Casino Night to fundraise for the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction on Saturday, Dec. 4 at The Margate on Winnipesaukee.

There will be blackjack, roulette, Texas holdem and craps provided by Vertical Entertainment & Casino Party Productions, with thousands of dollars in prizes, plus appetizers and a cash bar.

“We are excited to give back to our community and especially the children,” said Shannon Buttermore, captain of Challenge Team Gator Graphix, “and we’re hoping to make a large contribution for the kids.”

For guests who don’t gamble, the semi-formal event will have a DJ, and also include cornhole, a silent auction, photo booth, and door prizes. General admission tickets are $65 and include a drink ticket and appetizers. Tickets that include a limited seating VIP poker tournament, cocktail service, and special prizes are $85.

“This is such a great idea,” said Community Challenge co-chair Allan Beetle. “Since the Community Challenge has replaced Pub Mania with more virtual fundraising, it’s great to see teams like Gator Graphix hosting events where folks can get together to support the Children’s Auction.”

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with games beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at gatorpokernightnh.eventbrite.com.
