GILFORD — Bolduc Park Association recently received a grant from the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction. The grant was put right to use bringing 65 children from the Boys and Girls Club of the Lakes Region to Bolduc Park for a day of cross country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding during winter school vacation. Bolduc Park is a not for profit, all volunteer run recreational facility offering Lakes Region residents affordable access to a par 3 golf course, disc golf and cross country ski and snowshoe trails.

Bob Bolduc, founder and superintendent of the facility says “the Children’s Auction grant makes it possible for us to help local youth develop a life-long love of exercise and the outdoor sports we offer. We can offer lessons, equipment rental and participation in our sports to kids who otherwise would not have a chance to do these activities.”

Bolduc Park is located at 282 Gilford Avenue on the Laconia/Gilford line. For more information on how your organization or family can enjoy Bolduc Park and benefit from the programs made possible by the Children’s Auction grant send an email to golf@bolducpark.com or call 603-524-1370.
