LACONIA — September is a great time to be riding a bicycle. The Laconia Area Bicycle Exchange, 97 New Salem Street across from Isiah Cafe, has a large inventory of used and refurbished mountain style bicycles, youth bikes, English style bikes. Tires tubes and parts all at unbeatable prices. Also a supply of racing shirts. All proceeds will benefit their ongoing operation and service to the community. Gift certificates are available for purchase to help a neighbor in need.
This is their 8th year serving the needs of individuals and families with low cost refurbished bicycles. Since their first year they have sold over 1,000 bicycles most of which have been provided to those in need at low cost. All are welcome to visit the shop which is open Tuesdays 4-5:30 p.m., Thursdays and Saturdays 11-1 p.m.
