The 6th Annual Lakes Region Unified Basketball Jamboree was held Jan. 4, at Belmont High School. All money raised will be donated to Special Olympics of New Hampshire. Participating teams were Belmont, Berlin, Gilford, Laconia, Newfound and Winnisquam. Businesses that contributed to the event include Piche's, Central Lakes Region Movers, Pemi Glass & Mirror, Tall Timbers Tree Service, Brookside Pizza II, Lakeside Famous Roast Beef, Dairy Queen Laconia, Funspot, Amish Country Barn, Smitty's Cinema, Spa Girl NH, Jericho Hair Studio, Fratello's Laconia, Kettlehead Brewing Company, Highland Mountain Bike Park, South End Digital, Caryn O'Connell and the Belmont High School Softball Program.
