MOULTONBOROUGH ― Ever wonder what palliative care is really for? Or how and why readers should prepare for life’s final chapter with clarity and compassion rather than callousness and cluelessness? On Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Moultonborough Public Library, this session invites readers to explore the profound and often misunderstood aspects of end-of-life care through open and thoughtful speech with Scout Chambers.
Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of hospice services, advance care planning, and the emotional journey experienced by individuals and their families. Whether guests are thinking ahead about their own health care decisions, supporting a loved one through a serious illness, or simply seeking to understand the hospice experience, this session offers important information and deep perspectives to help navigate these confrontations with dignity and peace.
This event will be held in the Program Meeting Room at the Moultonborough Public Library on Feb. 10 from 6 to 7 pm, and is open to all. To register and learn more, visit the library calendar at moultonboroughlibrary.org. For more information, call 603-476-8895.
If the session is accompanied by a snow storm, the postponed date will be Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 6 pm.
