BRISTOL — The NH Marathon presented by Jeremy Hiltz Excavating heads into its 31st anniversary year on Oct. 5. Events include full and half marathons, 10k race, and kids run. The event supports three area youth serving nonprofit organizations.
The NH Marathon is considered one of the best full and half marathon courses in the state with its diverse terrain, changing vistas and incredible lake shoreline views. The race travels through Bristol, Bridgewater, Hebron, and Alexandria and boasts a blend of New England small lake town charm, tranquil nature, and country roads.
“The NH Marathon is more than a race; it is a community event, a positive annual social gathering for people of all ages,” said NH Marathon Chair Karen Schaffner.
Proceeds each year go to Circle Program, Mayhew Program, and The Tapply-Thompson Community Center. The NH Marathon Committee is also looking for volunteers to help on race day.
