BRISTOL — Rich Hart of Andover, Massachusetts has joined the Mayhew Program’s Board of Trustees.  Hart is the head of product at OneVest Technology and has enjoyed a career in financial services, having run operations or product platforms for firms such as State Street, JP Morgan, and Fidelity.  Hart has spent every summer of his life on Newfound Lake overlooking Mayhew Island.

Hart said, “I have been very fortunate having two parents who loved me, educated me, had high expectations of me, and who modeled being a good citizen, giving back, and doing the right thing. I realized that not everyone is this lucky, through no fault of their own. But everyone deserves to have someone in their corner. That is where Mayhew comes in and helps these boys be their best. It is an honor to serve this program.”

Since 1969, Mayhew has worked with over 2,400 New Hampshire boys, challenging them to believe in themselves, work well with others, and find their best. It is the only all-boys program in the state that combines school-year mentoring and a residential summer program for at-risk boys, tuition-free, through high school graduation.
