Sue Bucker: Candidates, remember loyalty lies with constituents served

Candidates, whoever they are, should remember the people who vote to elect them are putting their trust in and counting on them to do what is the very best for the country. They aren’t voting so candidates can please special interest groups and lobbyists or to be intimidated by party members, they’re putting their faith in them and counting on them to do the right thing for New Hampshire and the country.

As voters, obviously, our country seems to be going down the wrong path. Voters should take the time to find out the truth about what Washington is doing to our country and how candidates are spending hard-earned tax dollars. It doesn’t matter if voters are Republican or Democrat, everyone is responsible for our country’s future. Please try not to be influenced by television commercials. They’re very powerful but not always honest. Please vote for the candidate who will do what’s right for our country and its citizens, not for their own personal gain.
