Ronnie Abbott: He's running to be voice of his constituents

First, I love and support my brother as a person, but we are separate individuals with distinct life paths and differing views. Given this distinction, I ask to be judged on my own merit.

I am a loving husband and dedicated father of three, and I have been actively involved in the community for years, from my photography work to my civil engagements. After earning my bachelor's degree, I opened a small business and now work tirelessly to ensure my family’s needs are met in this challenging economy that we are all experiencing.

I have worked with the Human Relations Committee in efforts to curb antisemitism and used my photography and media skills to raise awareness about homelessness. I have been actively involved in the Republican cause in Belknap County, serving as chair of the cruise committee for the Belknap County Republican Committee and leading a successful fundraiser. I have also assisted presidential campaigns during our Old Home Day events.

I am running to be the voice of my constituents, and I believe that true representation starts with listening. I encourage them to take the time before the primary to share their ideas, concerns, and values with me. Their input is invaluable, and together, we can build a stronger, more unified community. Let’s work together to ensure that their voice is heard, and their needs are met.

The biggest issues we are facing as a community, in my opinion, are affordable housing, homelessness, the opiate crisis, and infringements on our Second Amendment. If elected, I will put every ounce of energy into addressing these issues.
