Rep. Mike Bordes: Endorsements show shared belief in putting people first

As state representative, I’ve always believed that leadership starts with listening, solid communication and fighting for the values that make New Hampshire strong. That’s why I’m proud to have earned the trust of leaders who know what it means to serve with integrity and purpose.

I’m honored to have the endorsement of Sheriff Bill Wright, a respected law enforcement leader who understands the importance of public safety and community trust. Sheriff Wright has seen firsthand my commitment to supporting our police, protecting our neighborhoods, and ensuring our laws are enforced fairly and responsibly.

I’m also deeply grateful for the endorsement of former Gov. Chris Sununu, whose leadership helped guide New Hampshire through challenging times with common sense and fiscal discipline. Gov. Sununu and I share a vision for a state that values freedom, opportunity and local control. Together, we’ve worked to cut taxes, empower communities, and deliver real results for the people of Laconia.

Now, I’m ready to bring that same energy and experience to the role of mayor of Laconia. As mayor, I’ll focus on revitalizing our downtown, supporting small businesses, improving infrastructure, and making sure city government works for everyone, not just a few. I’ll be a hands-on leader who listens, acts, and puts Laconia first.

With the support of leaders like Sheriff Wright and Gov. Sununu, I’m more energized than ever to keep fighting for our community. I respectfully ask for readers' votes in the Tuesday, Sept. 9 Primary so we can continue building a better future, together.
