To The Daily Sun,

Among all the challenges we ll face in this corona era, even at my advanced age, I am amazed by our apparently shared fixation on TOILET PAPER!

My Old Dear Grandmother, who grew up in a tenement with a shared toilet "down the hall" told that, as standard, there were neatly scissored squares of newspaper, nailed upon the near wooden wall. You sit on the toilet, read it, then ... well, you know. Country outhouses, the same way.

How to you think the Old Farmers Almanac was used?

Of all the things ... hopefully, we still have soap and water, and thoughtful consideration for our loved ones and others.

In our home, the Laconia Daily Sun is circulated, repurposed and ... reused. Remember not to flush wipes, etc. down your toilet.
