I rarely write in, but I am very concerned and I want to remind the people in Meredith and Belknap County about the Republican running for U.S. Senate.
Last week on WMUR, Don Bolduc said women should just “get over it” when he was asked about the possibility of Republicans passing a national abortion ban. I can barely believe that someone who wants to be in the Senate would say something like that about an issue as important as the right to choose, but I'm not surprised. Bolduc has also said he would never vote against anti-choice legislation and that he thinks New Hampshire’s abortion ban didn’t go far enough.
It’s offensive to me as a woman that Bolduc thinks he can dismiss an issue that impacts half of the population of our state and our nation. For this and many other reasons, he is not fit to be in the Senate. He will not be getting my vote.
