To The Daily Sun,
Tim Lang smiles charmingly, in Laconia Daily Sun ads. He promotes "yes" on Question No. 2, our Nov. 3 ballots. He is not honest. Property taxes rise under his and other Republicans' down-shifting of costs, especially school costs. Free Staters moved here to weaken state government, get elected, lead in the nasty deed. Republicans (Tim Lang) follow along.
A recent LDS letter by Jessica Jacques, of Gilford, thoroughly discusses what is wrong with Question No. 2, a shifty state budget change that could punish our public schools. Thanks, no thanks, Tim Lang. Realtors tell me how property values involve public school standards. Risky, cutting our schools' chances at success.
Lang's promotion omits that anytime a community wanted they could enact a tax cap. If Question No. 2 passes as law, communities must. Live Free or Die? We don't need or want the heavy hand of this "new" solution to our high property taxes.
Time to put Tim Lang out of our Statehouse and put in his challenger, Kurt Webber. Sure, Lang sat on our Winnisquam School Board a bit, but obviously did not come away respecting public schools' goals and staff. Kurt Webber did, not only working on Gilford's School Board, but chairing it.
