I've lived in New Hampshire most of my life and one of the main reasons I've stayed is that we don't have an income tax. That's not a small thing to me. It affects how far my paycheck goes every single month. Gov. Kelly Ayotte has kept her word on this. She hasn't wavered, even when there's pressure to go along with new taxes.
Opioid Lobbyist Cinde Warmington is a different story. She's endorsed by our state’s biggest income tax cheerleaders. That may sound fine for people who can afford it, but for a lot of us it just means less money in our pockets at the end of the month, and less reason to stay in this state instead of somewhere cheaper.
I don't think this is complicated. We already have a good thing going in New Hampshire and I'd rather keep it that way. Gov. Ayotte has protected the New Hampshire Advantage, and that’s why I'm voting for her again this November.
